Van Gogh Sky
Though the band's life was relatively short, Van Gogh Sky created some tasty folk-funk, while performing in venues in the Central Kentucky area. Started initially as a solo project by John D. Harmon, once the band formed, it changed lineups several times. The band was working on a full-length debut when the Harmons moved to California, all but ending the VGS run. A selection of the songs that Harmon wrote for VGS were rewritten, and debuted on the John and the Time Traveling Bicycle album, "Life as a Kite."
